This blended malt marries Douglas Laing's characteristic selection of Islay single malts with a finish in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, adding layers of richness and complexity to the brand's signature smoky character. Bottled at natural cask strength (52.6% ABV) without added colour or chill filtration, this release combines the island's intense peat smoke with the full, indulgent sweetness of PX sherry. The result is a robust expression where Islay's characteristic power remains intact, enriched by notes of dried figs, dates, roasted coffee, and a lingering warmth.
