Elijah Craig 21-Year-Old Single Barrel Bourbon marks the return of a rare ultra-aged bourbon within Heaven Hill's Single Barrel lineup. The release was announced for National Bourbon Day 2026 and first went on sale at the Heaven Hill Bourbon Experience, followed by very limited select-market distribution later in the year. The bourbon was aged for 21 years and bottled at 94 proof, or 47% ABV. Elijah Craig frames this release around the impact of long maturation in new charred American oak. Each single barrel is dumped and bottled individually, with the barrel number and bottling date handwritten on the label. The bottle comes in a wooden display case that nods to the role of barrel charring in the Elijah Craig style. In the glass, this is built around mature oak and depth: toasted oak, leather and dry spice on the nose, followed by milk chocolate, toasted nuts and burnt caramel. The finish moves toward aged oak, molasses, barrel char and peppery spice.
