About

Cambus closed its doors in 1993, just two years after this whisky was distilled in August 1991. This 34-year-old single grain is therefore a rare survivor from the distillery's final chapter—a precious artifact of Scottish grain whisky history. Woodrow's of Edinburgh released this bottling as part of their Warehouse Reserve collection in Spring 2026, continuing their focus on independent releases of mature, underrated grain whisky. Matured for 34 years and bottled at 52% ABV, this is a full-strength expression with no chill filtration. Cambus grain whisky is known for its approachability and finesse—less smoky than malt, but with its own subtle elegance that decades of aging only deepen. The nose reveals vanilla fudge, caramelised sugar, and white chocolate, with notes of coconut cream and roasted oak. On the palate, ripe fruit—cherry, blackcurrant—mingles with cinnamon and spice, supported by a full body. The finish is soft yet lingering, with dried flowers and the faint metallic sheen characteristic of well-aged grain whisky.
