About

Dram Mor is an independent bottler focused on single casks from Scottish distilleries. This Glen Moray from 2014 is one of their Spring 2026 releases, bottled at cask strength (56.2% ABV). Glen Moray itself has deep roots: the distillery was established in 1897 from the former West Brewery in Elgin, Speyside, and remains known for light, fruity single malts. This 11-year-old shows Glen Moray's signature style: delicate and fruit-forward with floral undertones. The nose reveals yellow fruits—melon and apple—alongside honey and garden florals. The palate develops a silky, fruity character with malt sweetness. The finish dries pleasantly, with a whisper of spice that gradually yields to lingering malt. Bottled at cask strength without chill filtration, this single cask expression delivers more weight and texture than Glen Moray's standard releases. It's a dram for those who value Speyside's original character without heavy oak influence.
