The Six Isles is a blended malt Scotch whisky created by Ian Macleod Distillers in the late 1990s. The concept is straightforward: one single malt from each of six major whisky-producing Scottish islands — Islay, Jura, Skye, Mull, Orkney, and Arran — married into a single expression. The result reads as a maritime collection: each island contributes its own voice.

The nose opens with smoke and salt, accented by citrus and green apple. The palate is oily and light-bodied, with pepper, smoked character, and a subtle honey sweetness — likely from heather peat. The finish remains dry and smoky, with a medium duration.
