Amrut Single Malt Whisky is a distinguished Indian whisky crafted by Amrut Distilleries. Produced using barley sourced from the foothills of the Himalayas, this whisky is matured in new American oak and ex-bourbon barrels. Since its establishment in 1948, Amrut has been a trailblazer in the realm of high-quality Indian single malts.
The nose of this whisky reveals a rich blend of citrus and apricot, intertwined with nutty and malty aromas. The palate is complex, featuring a sweet, barley-based opening that evolves into notes of honey and allspice, enriched with hints of rum and toffee. The finish is long, sweet, and dry, with a subtle oak influence and a touch of toffee at the end.
Amrut Single Malt is best enjoyed neat or with a splash of water to fully appreciate its intricate layers of flavor. It is an excellent choice for enthusiasts seeking a unique malt experience.

This is the least tasty whisky I've had in years. I have the impression they used water from the Ganges.
