5 Years RYE Whiskey

Prichard's 5 Years Rye carries the weight of Tennessee whiskey history: the distillery was founded in 1997 by Phil Prichard, a descendant of Benjamin Pritchard, who was making whiskey in Davidson County as far back as 1822. This isn't marketing — it's genealogy.

Matured in new charred American oak to the legal standard for straight rye, this 5-year expression sits at 43% ABV, accessible without sacrificing body. Vanilla and caramel anchor the profile, but rye's signature peppery spice — clove, cinnamon — takes the lead, brightened by notes of orange. The finish dries quickly, with lingering spice and a clean fade.
