Bottled neat at cask strength, it drinks hot and bold, yet opens beautifully with a few drops of water. The Islay character emerges in full: smoky and robust, with underlying toffee and caramel notes that soften the edges. Banana bread and toasted grain appear on the nose, followed by light oak.
