Madeira Finish

Raj Igala
Paul John Edited is a distinctive Indian single malt whisky celebrating the collaboration between Scottish and Indian distilling traditions. This vatting combines two distinct whisky styles: approximately 15% is peated with Scottish peat at 25ppm, while the remaining 85% remains unpeated. The result is a beautifully balanced, refined spirit that harmonises the best of both worlds.
The nose reveals sweet honey, toasted cereal, and prominent barley notes, complemented by delicate fruit aromas of apple, pear, and citrus. On the palate, gentle peat smoke emerges gradually, supported by vanilla, caramel, and subtle almond notes. The finish is smooth and satisfying, with a pleasant, lingering warmth and baking spice notes that develop on the tongue.
