Distillery Dalaruan

The Lost Distillery Company resurrects closed Scottish distilleries by reconstructing their forgotten recipes from historical records. Dalaruan, founded in 1825 by Charles Colvill in Campbeltown, produced triple-distilled whisky until 1925. Legend has it that Colvill drew inspiration from an unexpected night sharing a hotel bed on Islay—a moment that would shape his distillery's legacy. This blended malt is an interpretation of what Dalaruan would have produced, crafted using original master blender notes.

Matured in ex-sherry and ex-rum casks, the whisky carries a malty foundation with glazed pastry, dried fruit, and the subtle smoke characteristic of Campbeltown production. The blend captures both richness and a hint of rustic charm.
