Toiteach A Dhà means 'Smoky Two' in Gaelic—an unconventional move for Bunnahabhain, a distillery known for its unpeated style. This is the sequel to their first peated release, unleashing the distillery's characteristically robust, oily spirit onto peated barley. The result is assertive and unpolished, lacking the refinement of their core range.
Matured in ex-bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks, the pairing creates deliberate tension: bourbon provides structure; Oloroso adds dark fruit and tannin grip. At 46.3% ABV and non-chill-filtered, the full texture survives intact.
