Brenne was founded in 2012 by American entrepreneur Alison Parc, who discovered a Cognac distillery experimenting with whisky production. Inspired by its quality, she launched her own brand in France's Cognac region. The name Brenne draws from both the French word for 'burn' and her distillery partner's family name.

This Cuvée Spéciale is matured in Cognac casks, lending an unexpected and elegant character to this French single malt. The marriage of French grain spirit and Cognac wood influence sets Brenne apart from traditional Scottish whisky.
