Aberfeldy was founded in 1896 by the Dewar brothers in the Scottish Highlands, building on their father John Dewar's legacy as a spirits merchant dating back to 1805. The distillery, designed by the legendary Charles Cree Doig with his trademark pagoda roof, sits in a verdant valley in the foothills of Perthshire. This 12-year-old single malt is proof of that heritage: a soft, approachable whisky that makes no fuss.
Matured in bourbon casks, this whisky presents a light, delicate character. The nose breathes honey and vanilla, with fine cereal notes. On the palate, a pleasant blend of fresh fruit, honey, and gentle spice unfolds, with a subtle oak foundation. The finish is dry and spiced, without drama.
This is whisky for those who value ease and drinkability over impact. It goes down smooth, offers a light texture, and delivers pleasant warmth without pretense.

Find this a fine whiskey that you can actually drink all the time and certainly for the price
