Mackmyra - Svensk Rök is the first smoked whisky to emerge from Sweden, crafted by the innovative Mackmyra distillery. Inspired by Scottish traditions yet infused with a Scandinavian twist, the malt is dried over a fire of peat and juniper twigs. This method imparts distinctive juniper and smoky notes, paying homage to Sweden's natural landscape. The whisky matures in Swedish oak casks, which enhance its sweet aromas. Upon tasting, Svensk Rök offers a refreshing and vibrant experience. The nose reveals a subtle smokiness with hints of citrus and vanilla fudge. On the palate, bright juniper notes and a mineral, dry smoke come to the fore. The finish is lightly spiced, supported by caramel tones and a whisper of citrus.
