Glendullan Select Game of Thrones, House Tully

This Singleton was released in 2020 as part of a Game of Thrones collection, with each bottling representing one of Westeros's Great Houses. House Tully, ruler of the Riverlands, was paired with Glendullan because of water's significance in both narratives: the Fiddich River powers the Dufftown distillery via a waterwheel that drives the entire production.

Matured in ex-bourbon casks, this whisky carries the soft, approachable character typical of that wood type. At 40% ABV, it sits at a gentle strength, neither challenging nor demanding.

The nose opens with vanilla and honey, followed by clove and spice. The palate brings green apple and pear, with hints of walnut and red fruit, all wrapped in vanilla. Oak sits quietly in the background. The finish is clean and dry, fading quickly with a lingering sweetness. This is a straightforward dram—pleasant for those seeking an accessible Speyside without pretense.
