Finished in French oak XO Cognac casks, this expression softens Talisker's typical intensity while deepening its character. The result is richer and more layered than the distillery's core range, without losing the signature peppery edge.

On the nose, malt bread and dried fruit—sultanas, figs, raisins—emerge alongside sea spray and a whiff of campfire smoke. The palate is oily and creamy, with chocolate, black peppercorns, and hints of gingerbread playing against gentle sweetness. Smoke lingers but never dominates; instead, vanilla and caramel notes weave through. A whisky that rewards slow sipping, revealing new details as it opens.
