Smoky Scot is a young Islay single malt from Aceo Limited, distilled and matured at Caol Ila, Diageo's largest distillery on the island. The distillery name does not appear on the label—a deliberate choice that places emphasis on flavour rather than brand identity. Age is similarly absent, as each small batch may vary slightly; this release includes casks, the youngest of which is five years old.

The near-colourless appearance is intentional. Minimal colour signals that the ex-bourbon casks have exerted little influence on maturation or tint—the result is a clean, pure spirit that lets the natural character of the new-make shine through. Non-chill-filtered, natural colour, bottled at 46% abv.
