The Glenlivet Caribbean Reserve introduces an unexpected turn to the Speyside formula. This single malt has been partially matured in barrels that previously held Caribbean rum, layering tropical notes over the distillery's signature green apple and floral character.

The combination creates something unusual: where Speyside typically whispers, this release speaks of banana, honey, and caramel. It's not attempting to become a rum-whisky hybrid, but rather a Speyside that briefly opens its doors to warmer climates.

The nose leads with pear and red apple, moving into soft caramel and toffee. On the palate it remains smooth and syrupy, tropical fruit threading through the classic Glenlivet house style.
