Le Breuil Duo De Malt Blend
Le Breuil Duo de Malt emerged from a partnership between Château du Breuil and Maison Boinaud, two French producers steeped in Calvados and fine wine respectively. Château du Breuil, housed in a 16th-century Norman castle, pivoted to whisky production in 1954 while honouring its brandy heritage — the distillery remains known for subtly introducing pear into its distillates.
This blend marries two single malts into a fresh, approachable expression. It reads as genuine whisky, not a French brandy-house experiment. The nose reveals vanilla and soft fruit — peach, pear, and red currants — set against a pale, Chardonnay-like hue.
