Wolfburn Northland is a single malt whisky hailing from the Highland region of Scotland, produced by the Wolfburn distillery in Thurso. Established in 2013 on the site of a historical distillery dating back to 1821, Wolfburn has quickly made a name for itself with its commitment to quality and craftsmanship. This expression is matured entirely in used American oak quarter casks that previously held sherry. This smaller cask size enhances the wood interaction, imparting rich malty and sherried flavors to the whisky. On the palate, you can expect a smooth and complex profile, with notes of dried fruits, toffee, and a hint of spice, making it a delightful sip for both novices and connoisseurs alike.
