This Speyside distillery's first foray into smoke breaks from Islay convention: the peat comes from the Scottish mainland at St Fergus, delivering a sweeter, earthier smoke than island-sourced alternatives.

The Original is built from first-fill bourbon barrels, American virgin oak, and rye casks—all active vessels that impart bold character to a whisky aged just five years. The youth is not a weakness here; it lets the distillery's peated spirit speak without the softening that longer maturation brings.
