Scotch Malt Whisky Society Cask No. 105.61 – 11 Year Old Toasted Oak & Vanilla

Single Malt
Tyrconnell takes its name from a legendary racehorse that defied 100-to-1 odds to win in 1876. R.M. Delamere's chestnut colt became the emblem of a distillery tracing back to 1762, when Andrew Watt established his operation in Cooley. That legacy lives on in this single malt: an approachable Irish whisky that earns respect through subtlety rather than force.
The nose reveals layered fruit — apple, citrus, pineapple — with a floral character reminiscent of an orchard. The palate follows with honey and caramel, grounded by a grain note that never overwhelms. The finish is clean and dry, with light spice and a pleasant fade.
This is a whisky for those who don't need to prove anything. Equally at home as a daily dram or as a gateway into Irish single malt.
