Stokerij Pirlot made history in 2010 by producing Belgium's first peated single malt whisky. Kempisch Vuur (Kempen Fire) is the result of that pioneering ambition—a young, experimental spirit that proves quality whisky need not come from Scotland alone.

This 5-year-old single malt matured in Quarter Cask, which accelerates wood intensity and character development. The light peating delivers an unconventional character: more embers and marram grass than the heavy smoke of Islay classics. Tasters describe a 'differently peated' quality—coastal, mineral, with palpable tension between sweetness and smoke.
