Knob Creek 9 Year Old 250th Anniversary Limited Edition

9 Year Old 250th Anniversary Limited Edition

Bourbon Barrel

About

Knob Creek marked America's 250th anniversary with this limited edition, a 9-year-old Kentucky Straight Bourbon that distils the brand's heritage. Distilled in Clermont, Kentucky, at the Jim Beam site where the Boehm family perfected their craft since 1792, this release embodies what Booker Noe created in 1992: a pre-Prohibition-style bourbon aged in heavily charred barrels longer than any other Jim Beam product. Nine years in American oak with char #4 yields a full-bodied, rounded character. The nose leads with vanilla, caramel, and roasted nut notes, with a hint of sweet toast. On the palate, these flavours converge with earthy, dry undertones and a subtle dark dried-fruit note, while the finish holds warm and nutty, closing with a lingering caramel fade. This is not experimental bourbon—it's a proven classic profile that explains why Knob Creek holds a permanent shelf spot. For those who value traditional American whisky craft.
