The Companion

Fable Whisky was founded by two Scotch whisky veterans, Andrew Torrance and Calum Lawrie, with a mission to bring Scotland's stories to life through art, animation, and illustration. The Companion sits within their collection, each bottle weaving a Scottish fable into its identity. This is not a generic blended whisky — it is storytelling in a glass.

This eight-year-old blend draws from multiple distilleries and matured in ex-bourbon hogsheads. The composition favours a light, approachable character without the weight of sherry maturation.

On the nose, The Companion shows fresh and bright: citrus fruits and apple lead, supported by soft cereal notes and subtle oak. The palate is creamy and fruity with a malty backbone — no aggressive spice, but rather a balance between sweetness and acidity that makes it easy to drink. The finish is soft and warm, with orchard fruits lingering gently.
