In 2026, Old Pulteney marked two centuries of distilling on Scotland's rugged northern coast with this limited-edition Anniversary Distillery Exclusive. This 10-year-old single malt follows an unconventional path for Old Pulteney. After maturing in American oak ex-Bourbon casks, it received further refinement in both ex-Manzanilla and ex-Oloroso casks—a dual sherry influence that represents new territory for the distillery. The result is a golden whisky that reflects two centuries of craftsmanship and innovation. The nose reveals vanilla, citrus, spiced dried fruits and caramelised pear, all lifted by a distinctive saline edge—that characteristic maritime signature of Wick. The palate brings crème caramel, rich vanilla, lemon zest and salted chocolate, interwoven with cinnamon, finishing in a balanced conclusion that is both sweet and salty.
