United States 250th Anniversary Commemorative Edition 10 Year Old Bottled-in-Bond

Bourbon Barrel

About

Rittenhouse takes its name from Philadelphia's iconic Rittenhouse Square and represents a direct line to Pennsylvania's historic rye whiskey tradition—a cornerstone of early American distilling. This 250th Anniversary Commemorative Edition celebrates not only 250 years of American independence, but also the legacy of Monongahela rye, once the spirit of choice across the region. This Bottled-in-Bond expression adheres to the rigorous standards of the Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897. Aged 10 years and bottled at 100 proof, it is composed of a mashbill of 51% rye, 35% corn, and 14% malted barley. Drawn from 90 carefully selected barrels aged across multiple rickhouses and floors, and non-chill filtered to preserve maximum character. The nose offers structured spice and oak depth, while the palate delivers the classic boldness Rittenhouse is known for—warm spice, caramel undertones, and baked-bread texture. The finish is warm and lingering, with a sustained spice that underscores its rye heritage.
