About
E.H. Taylor Four Grain honors Colonel Edmund Haynes Taylor, Jr., a founding father of the bourbon industry who transformed whiskey from frontier trade into modern science. Taylor championed the Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897, establishing quality standards that endure today. This limited edition returns in May 2026 with a distinctive four-grain recipe: corn for foundational sweetness, rye for spice and structure, wheat for softness, and malted barley for layered complexity. The result is a bourbon that opens sweet—vanilla, caramel, cherry—before charred oak tannins and rye spice emerge on the palate. The finish is long and warming, marked by honey and oat character. This is a whisky that carries its heritage not just in name, but in craft and balance.
