Destillerie Stelzl in Styria crafts the Styrian Oak Mountain as a young, unpolished single malt that wears its age honestly. Matured for three years in a former white wine barrique of Austrian oak, it emerges as a whisky that marries tropical fruit and burnt brown sugar with a fresh, sometimes unconventional edge. The choice of white wine oak sets this apart from typical Scottish single malts.
