Knob Creek Blender's Edition 01 launches a new series celebrating the craft of blending. Under the direction of eighth-generation master distiller Freddie Noe, the team hand-selected barrels to highlight a sweeter expression of Knob Creek's profile—a deliberate departure from the standard release. This ten-year-old bourbon is bottled at 106 proof and emphasizes confectionery sweetness with a full mouthfeel. It's a blending exercise in restraint: the sweeter notes are intentional rather than overwhelming. The nose opens with powdered sugar and vanilla, followed by caramel, baking spice, and oak. The palate delivers a smooth, full texture with nougat and yogurt-covered raisins, alongside ripe cherry. The finish is soft and lingering, without harsh edges.
