Lochlea Harvest Edition is a Lowlands Single Malt inspired by the vibrant harvest season at Lochlea Farm, where barley is grown and processed on-site. This seasonal release showcases the distillery's commitment to terroir, with bourbon barrel maturation at 46% ABV delivering a smooth yet characterful dram that celebrates Scottish agricultural heritage. The nose reveals bright notes of fresh fruit and citrus alongside honey, caramel, and malty cereal character. On the palate, sweet and fruity notes give way to a distinctive white pepper kick, complemented by dried fruit and warming spice. Vanilla and toffee add richness throughout. The finish is creamy and lingering, with sour orchard fruit and citrus notes providing a refreshing conclusion.
