Cult of Islay 2014 MM is a skillfully crafted blended whisky marrying two legendary Islay malts—Bowmore and Laphroaig—with a luscious Lowland single grain from North British Distillery. Bottled by Murray McDavid at 46% ABV, this 8-year-old expression strikes a compelling balance between smoky intensity and refined sweetness.

The nose reveals layers of salted caramel, coastal smoke, and bright citrus peel with hints of maritime fire. On the palate, citrusy peat emerges alongside toffee-apple notes and gentle spice, creating a complex interplay of flavours. The finish is mellow and oily, with soft oak and a lingering whisper of smoke that epitomizes the Islay character while maintaining elegant restraint.
