Lossit NAS TLDC is a tribute to a lost Islay distillery that operated from 1826 to 1867. This blended malt is an educated recreation of the whisky style thought to have been produced at one of Islay's historic lost distilleries. The expression offers a balanced combination of fruity and floral character with subtle peat undertones. The nose is invitingly sweet, revealing honey, vanilla, and floral notes alongside ripe apricots and juicy peaches. Fresh malt and tangy oranges add vibrancy to the profile. On the palate, a sweet winey start gives way to good body and malty character, with citrus notes and gentle peat providing complexity and balance. The finish is smooth and refined, leaving a pleasant impression.
