About
Glen Garioch 2010 DL is an independently bottled single malt from the Scottish Highlands, released by Douglas Laing. This characterful whisky combines fresh fruity notes with warm, earthy undertones characteristic of Glen Garioch's distilling heritage. After nine years of maturation, it strikes a refined balance between youthful vibrancy and developed complexity. The nose reveals apple, pear, and toffee alongside earthy and nutty characteristics. The palate unfolds smoothly with tingling fruitiness, nutty flavours, and subtle hints of raspberry jam. The finish is elegant and dry, with delicate spice notes such as nutmeg lingering pleasantly, complemented by a warming, slightly peppery character that leans towards the drier side of the flavour spectrum.
