About
Inchmoan is a heavily peated single malt from the Highlands, crafted at the versatile Loch Lomond distillery in Alexandria. This 12-year-old expression represents a smokier variant within the distillery's core range, delivering a compelling balance of smoke and spice. With its signature mineral character and soft smoke, Inchmoan establishes a distinctive profile that embodies Loch Lomond's distinctive house style. The nose reveals gentle vanilla, ashy smoke and candied sweetness, complemented by citrus and green apple notes. On the palate, malt-driven flavours take centre stage: barley sugar, malted biscuits and hints of rolled oats, alongside spicy elements including cracked black pepper and sage. The finish is medium-length with fruity sweetness, drying oak and a peppery conclusion that brings the experience to a satisfying close.
