Fondaudège Pur Malt is an authentic French pure malt whisky, entirely produced, distilled, and matured in France. Made from French barley and distilled in traditional Charentais stills, it matures in oak casks previously used for cognac, giving it a distinctive French character and refined profile that sets it apart from Scottish and Irish counterparts. The nose reveals appealing floral and sweet notes with hints of vanilla and barley sugar. On the palate, the whisky is gentle and approachable, offering flavours of butterscotch, honey, and caramel, balanced with subtle dried grass and citrus peel notes. The finish brings forward spices such as nutmeg and cinnamon, reflecting the influence of the cognac-seasoned casks.
