This inaugural limited release masterfully blends 90% matured Irish grain whiskey from first-fill ex-Bourbon casks with 9% triple-distilled Irish malt whiskey finished in Ruby Port casks, plus 1% peated malt. The result is a sophisticated expression that captures the essence of Irish countryside and literary heritage. The nose reveals elegant vanilla, honey, and toasted oak, lifted by delicate red berry notes from the Ruby Port influence. The palate unfolds with rich dark fruit flavors—plum and blackberry—complemented by subtle spice and a gentle peaty smokiness that adds complexity.
