This is a 10 Year Old Whisky

Track 02 Firestarter
Track 03 Purple Haze
Purple Haze takes its name from Jimi Hendrix's iconic rock song and marks the third release in Turntable Spirits' music-inspired 'album' of six limited bottlings. Brothers Alasdair and Gordon Stevenson, drawing on two decades of Scotch whisky industry experience, founded this Glasgow-based blending house to merge their love of music with craft whisky-making. Each release is named after a rock track and crafted to capture that song's spirit in liquid form.
This blend draws from three Scottish distilleries: 42% Craigellachie matured in an Oloroso Sherry Butt, 44% Balmenach in a Pedro Ximenez Sherry Puncheon, and 14% Invergordon from an ex-Sherry Barrel. The sherry cask influence is the dominant voice here, creating a full-bodied, richly textured spirit.
On the nose, dark chocolate, sour cherries, and toffee emerge alongside cinnamon and spice. The palate opens with red fruits and toffee before deepening into chocolate ganache, candied nuts, and honeycomb sweetness. The finish stretches long, lingering on marmalade, dark chocolate, and a grassy spice. This is a whisky that demands attention—lush, generous, and unapologetically sherry-forward.
