Crafted from seven casks, including six ex-bourbon hogsheads and one ex-sherry butt, the youngest component of this blend is 26 years old, with some elements reaching up to 34 years. Named after William 'Blue' Hanger, an 18th-century patron of Berry Bros & Rudd, this whisky makes a comeback after more than a decade of absence.

On the nose, it reveals vibrant notes of orange zest alongside sweet honeyed cereals and a hint of cloves. The palate is thick and oily, showcasing flavors of sweet brioche buns, a whisper of charred oak, and soft caramel, with hints of coffee beans and warming baking spices. The finish is of medium length, lingering with spices, meringues, and lemon drizzle.
