Winter Edition

The Jura Winter Edition is a seasonal expression designed to deliver warmth and character when temperatures drop. Produced on the island of Jura in the Hebrides, where the distillery has operated since 1963, this whisky carries the rugged, island-influenced character of its home.

Matured in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels and finished in Spanish sherry casks, the whisky balances bourbon's vanilla foundation with sherry's warming spice. The nose opens with dried fruits—raisins and dates—alongside citrus and a tea-like quality. The palate arrives sticky and sugary, delivering prominent spice: nutmeg, cinnamon, a whisper of cumin. The finish is long and warm, with vanilla and oak slowly receding. A straightforward, well-crafted dram that delivers exactly what its name suggests: comfort for winter nights.
