Glen Scotia is one of Scotland's smallest distilleries, located in Campbeltown — a region steeped in whisky heritage. Founded in 1832 by Stewart, Galbraith & Co, it has long embodied the characteristic Campbeltown style: spicy, fruity, and marked by coastal salt influence.
This 10-year-old is matured entirely in first fill bourbon casks, delivering a light and approachable single malt. At 40% ABV, it's an unpeated Campbeltown whisky stripped of pretense — pure distillery character and oak influence, nothing more.
On the nose, an oily, smooth texture reveals honey, ginger, and subtle fruit (pear, citrus). The palate brings a spicy kick, underpinned by sweet and salty notes — the hallmark Campbeltown signature. The finish is dry and briny, with wood spice fading gradually.
