Single Pot Still Cask Strength

Single Cask
Teeling partners with Galway Bay Brewery for this Barleywine Small Batch Collaboration, extending a partnership that began with their acclaimed 200 Fathoms Imperial Stout Release. It exemplifies Teeling's philosophy: bringing together unconventional Irish producers to create something genuinely different.
The blend marries barley and grain whiskey, initially matured in ex-bourbon casks and finished in rum casks. That rum cask influence adds warmth and sweetness—toffee and butterscotch—layered beneath a core of ripe fruit notes and overripe cherries.
The nose shows caramelised pineapple and vanilla, with hints of dried raisins and banana. The palate is soft and full-bodied, leading with apple, melon and citrus, then cherry and sultana. The finish holds that fruity character with a touch of oak.
Teeling, founded by brothers Jack and Stephen (sons of John Teeling, who established Cooley Distillery in 1987 and revived Irish whiskey in its darkest hour), represents Dublin's return to whiskey-making—the city's first new distillery in over 125 years.
