The Eternal Reserve

Royal Salute's The Eternal Reserve is a 21-year-old blended Scotch conceived by Chivas Brothers and produced at Strathisla in Speyside — a whisky built to endure. The name reflects an ambition to craft something timeless. Like all accomplished blends, it marries roughly 65–80% grain whisky (for smoothness and volume) with 20–35% malt from selected distilleries, each component chosen to support a cohesive flavour profile.

The nose is rich and inviting: caramel, demerara sugar, candied citrus, and vanilla. On the palate, oiliness carries the sweetness — toffee and vanilla predominate, with green apple and orange acidity cutting through the darker notes. The finish is polished and juicy, touched by soft ginger spice.
