This whisky is uniquely matured, first in bourbon casks and finished in port wine casks, lending it a rich and aromatic depth. The name 'Portti', meaning 'gate' in Finnish, symbolizes the transition in flavor profile. The nose is enticingly fruity and sweet, with aromas of caramelized sugar, malt, toffee, plums, cherries, and blackcurrants.
