The Hinch Foursquare Single Cask is a unique collaboration between the Northern Irish Hinch Distillery and importer Bresser & Timmer. This special edition whisky has matured in a barrel with a rich history. The barrel began its journey as a Sauternes cask from Bordeaux, was then used for maturing rum in Barbados, and later for a Bavarian whisky by the SLYRS distillery. This complex journey has imparted a beautifully layered flavor profile in this limited edition of just 342 bottles. Upon tasting, you'll find a broad spectrum of flavors. The nose reveals notes of tropical fruit and honey, while the palate offers dried fruit and a hint of nuts. The finish is long and warming, with a subtle woody undertone that adds depth to the whisky. This whisky provides a unique opportunity to experience the influence of a specific cask on the taste, especially when you can also sample the other releases from this series.
