French Single Malt

Brenne is the world's first single malt aged exclusively in both new French Limousin oak and Cognac casks—an ambitious pairing born from one founder's vision. Allison Parc, a former professional ballerina, discovered a Cognac distillery producing single malt while sourcing spirits for her import company, Local Infusions. She saw the opportunity to create something entirely new. The whisky's organic credentials—seed-to-spirit, farmed on a single French estate—anchor a strong sense of place and purpose.

This ten-year-old expression matures in French Limousin oak and finishes in Cognac casks, striking a delicate balance between the vanilla and subtle spice of new French oak and the fruity, honeyed character of Cognac maturation. The water comes from the Charente river, the same waterway that has sustained Cognac craft for centuries.
