Loch Lomond

Belgian Passion
Littlemill stands among Scotland's oldest distilleries—possibly the oldest of all. Though its exact origins remain debated, it received its first official license in 1817. In 1823, it was run by Jane MacGregor, one of the first women to manage a distillery of any scale in Scotland. This 1984 vintage is a rare survivor from before Littlemill closed in 1992.
Matured in a sherry butt for 30 years, this single malt delivers a generous fruit basket: tropical fruit, banana, pink grapefruit, mandarin, peach, and apricot, mingling with honey and floral notes of chamomile and rose. The whole expression feels elegant and well-composed.
The nose reveals floral tea laden with honey, while the palate erupts in fruit and spice—a hallmark Littlemill character. The finish is long and warm, with lingering fruit and subtle pepper. This is a dram for anyone keen to taste the history of Lowland whisky.
