Berry Bros. & Rudd. The Classic Range Sherry Cask

Berry Bros. & Rudd, one of London's oldest wine merchants, has traded from 3 St James's Street since 1698. In 2018 they launched the Classic Range — a curated selection showcasing different Scottish regions and cask styles. This Sherry Cask is a blended malt assembled from the finest sherry butts, each handpicked for its character.

Matured entirely in ex-sherry casks, it delivers a full, brooding expression. At 60% ABV, this bottling is bottled at cask strength — no dilution, pure concentration from the wood.

The nose opens with candied plums, walnuts and pine resin, supported by brown sugar and raisins. On the palate: bourbon vanilla, cloves and a silky texture. The finish is lasting and warming, with espresso, oak spice and a drying, bitter orange note that lingers.
