Inchfad is a discontinued, heavily peated single malt from Loch Lomond distillery, named after an island in the south-east of Loch Lomond that once housed a ruined distillery. The Maltman releases this 17-year-old 2005 vintage at 52.1%, preserving the distinctive smoky character of this rare producer.
This bottling marries Inchfad's signature peated profile with the complexity of age. The nose reveals sweet peat and charred oak; on the palate, spicy ginger emerges alongside salty liquorice, black pepper, and molasses. The finish deepens with peat smoke, medicinal dettol notes, anise, and hazelnut.
