A'bunadh is Gaelic for 'the original' — a name honouring the traditional distilling methods of around 1870, when Aberlour was founded. This batch is matured entirely in ex-Oloroso sherry butts, bottled at cask strength (60.7%) without added colour or chill filtration.

The nose reveals dark, rich fruit — apricot pie, summer fruits, vanilla, raisins — layered with cinnamon and a hint of citrus. On the palate, it's intense and warming: dry wood, spiced apple, pepper, and red fruit, underpinned by deep sherry notes.
